What you need to know about the 2013 Northeast Regional Carwash Convention

Presenting the theme and the details behind Restore the Shore.

October 1, 2013

This year marks the 24th Northeast Regional Carwash Convention. Sponsored Organized by Car Wash Operators of New Jersey, the Mid-Atlantic Carwash Association, the New England Carwash Association, the New York State Car Wash Association, and the Connecticut Carwash Association, the convention will once again be held at the Trump Taj Mahal & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

Last year, the 23nd NRCC hosted its largest show floor ever with 255 exhibitors, according to a press release. Julie Stanton, the NRCC show facilitator, stated, “I’m thrilled to report that we broke our record set back in 2010 with 255 booths sold this year. Our show floor was packed and our vendors and attendees were just thrilled.” The show floor attracted more than 1,300 attendees.

The theme for this year’s convention is East Coast Strong. Last year, the East Coast suffered damage when Hurricane Sandy, a Category 2 storm struck in October, causing over $68 billion in damages. Families were forced to relocate and businesses were forced to close. According to Julie Stanton, the NRCC show facilitator, the NRCC has teamed up with Restore the Shore to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The NRCC hopes to raise $10,000 during its opening night reception in the Hard Rock Café. For more information, see below. And, for more information on the convention, visit www.nrccshow.com.
