Circle K relocation vote postponed
The delay is the result of the council asking Circle K to meet a number of conditions, according to the Los Banos Enterprise story.
The conditions include raising a wall by two feet and maintaining the wall with vines in order to protect against graffiti. The council is also requiring the company to post both cash and credit gas prices.
A church adjacent to the site has also appealed the relocation citing the potential for an increase in noise and traffic.
Under the general use permit sought by Circle K it states that the business will not adversely affect nearby places of worship.
The council plans on holding the vote Oct. 13.
