Carwash employee eyes 2016 Olympics
Kayla Chappell, 21, works at Norman’s Auto Valet carwash by day and trains with the hopes of making the team by night. She uses the money she makes at the carwash to help pick up the expenses of traveling to competitions. Chappell has also set up a Facebook page to ask for donations and update people of her progress, according to the Norman Transcript.
“I want to be able to give back to everyone who has helped me and be a good role model,” she said in the story.
Some carwash customers also donate to her cause when they get their car washed at Norma’s Auto Valet.
