Cleveland TV show recommends DIY detailing
CLEVELAND — Professional detailers beware: A recent news segment on KSHB encouraged viewers to detail their vehicles themselves using household products.
The Nov. 7 segment featured an interview with professional detailer Pete Bowman who works at Jay Honda.
"It’s cleaning supplies that you have in your house that you can use,” Bowman said in the story. He said to not buy any of the "fancy" products available and instead recommended using regular glass cleaner (for hard interior surfaces) and an old make-up brush or toothbrush.
"This is what gets all the nooks and crannies [in there] because of the fine brush," Bowman said in the story.
