Man accused of stealing car mid-detail
ST. LOUIS — A 2005 Honda Acura was stolen from Concord Wash and Detailing on Oct. 4. Robert Gusman, recently charged with a carjacking at a St. Louis hospital, is now accused of stealing the Acura.
“All the doors were open, and [he] almost ran down one of the employees,” said Concord Wash and Detail employee Michael Woods, according to the report.
A police officer confirmed that Gusman is the person who committed the carjacking at St. Anthony’s Medical Center. He also committed a robbery at Arsenal Credit Union on Lemay Ferry on Oct. 24.
The police obtained the Acura after arresting Gusman on Oct. 24. “We went ahead and detailed it for her for free. It was in rough shape. But I’m just really happy that she got her car back,” said Woods.
