(UPDATED) Danny’s general manager pleads guilty to immigration fraud charges
PHOENIX — General manager, Jack Edlund, is now the highest-ranking member of Danny’s Family Car Wash to plead guilty, according to the Associated Press.
The employees are charged with rehiring staff who did not have proper authorization to work in the U.S. An audit found that around half of Danny’s employees did not have proper documentation.
Edlund spent over two years as the general manager of Danny’s.
There are now 12 members of Danny’s who have pleaded guilty, out of the 14 who have been charged.
(UPDATED) A sentencing date of June 2 has been set for two of the managers who have previously pleaded guilty, Oscar Ivan Gastelum-Aguilar and Henry Antonio Hernandez-Alonzo.
