Delta Kits celebrates 30-year anniversary
EUGENE, OR — Delta Kits, a windshield repair and headlight restoration equipment, is celebrating 30 years in business, according to a press release.
The Jan. 6 release stated that the company's “30 Years of Excellence” milestone was marked with a new commemorative logo and a limited edition anniversary windshield repair system.
Walter Deines and his wife Darlene started Delta Kits in 1984. Their son Brent was hired as sales manager in 1994 and now holds the position of president after Walter and Darlene retired.
“Though there are many factors which have attributed to our success, underlying them all is an unwavering commitment to meet our customers’ needs while providing the highest level of customer service,” Brent stated in the release
Lustra to provide emails on how carwash owners can better market their business
DE PERE, Wis. — Lustra™ Professional Car Care Products will be making it easier for carwash owners to better understand how to market their business, with a monthly email offering assistance on the business of owning a carwash.
“We are excited to support the car wash operator in their marketing effort,” said Marketing Project Manager Kelly Anderson. “Our goal is to share ideas and tips on how to effectively promote your wash and help increase revenue.”
The company was aware of the fact that carwash owners desired information on the challenges of marketing their business, and felt they could provide a unique view on the subject, according to the release.
Along with the monthly email, Lustra will be posting information on its Facebook page about how carwashes can improve marketing strategies.
Blendco Systems names new sales manager
BRISTOL, PA — Brad Quay has been named the new midwest regional sales manager at Blendco Systems, a press release announced.
The Jan. 2 release stated that Quay comes to Blendco with 20 years of industry experience, having previously served as the vice president of sales at Hamilton Manufacturing Corporation.
Along with offering service and support to the Midwestern region, Quay will also work, “to increase business in the area with a special emphasis on the tunnel business," the press release noted.
New editor joins PC&D

Napoli is a graduate from the Communications Master program at The College of Saint Rose as well as a freelance writer.
