DETROIT — There are many things that make a carwash and detail business fail or succeed, and one of the most important ones is being able to attract new customers, according to a Detail XPerts blog post.

It’s not only important to have a presence on social media, but to check things like your email and traditional mail services to make sure you haven’t missed any important customer communications.

Traditional promotions are another thing the blog recommends. Things like flyers are not the first that come to mind anymore, but they still have value in attracting new business.

Think about partnering up with another group. Charity promotions are not only a great way to give back, but they have the added benefit of bringing in a new focus from an audience that isn’t familiar with your product.
