Another waterless carwash product hits the market

April 24, 2007

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The newest biodegradable car cleaning product to hit the United States has its roots in Australia, according to a press release from the company.

James Dudra, the company’s 25-year-old founder, said Eco Touch is the result of a semester spent abroad in Australia and a few summers of running a detailing business in the U.S. during college breaks.

According to the press release, the non-toxic water based formula is sprayed onto the vehicle where the natural ingredients “loosen and encapsulate dirt particles.”

The release said a soft microfiber towel is then used to “lift” the dirt, while a second towel buffs the formula further.

Eco Touch is only the most recent waterless carwashing product to hit the industry. Earlier this year, several companies released their own waterless car care products and services.
