CATLIN, IL — A carwash owner approached the Village Council here about adding a solar panel to the roof of his carwash, commercial-news.com reported.
The Feb. 15 story stated that the owner asked before the council meeting if he needed a special permit prior to installing the panel.
Commissioners planned to tell the owner that only a building permit would be needed for the installation, the story noted.
According to the story, the solar panel will be used to pre-heat water for the carwash.
