Find out what’s happening with other self-serves

LATHAM, NY — The results are in for the Professional Carwashing & Detailing 2012 Self-Serve Industry Benchmark Report, and some findings might be a bit shocking to a few of you.

For example:

49% of those surveyed said they are located in a suburban area;
42% of those surveyed said they do accept tokens; and
9% said they offer self storage units as an additional profit center.

The annual survey is made possible by the owner/operators who took the time to answer the online survey which was emailed to them during the month of November. The final analysis is not a scientific study and was conducted using Zoomerang survey software.
