Breeze Thru Car Wash has opened here just in time for winter.
The eco-friendly conveyor carwash, owned by John and Andrea Agnew, is the second location for the couple. Their other wash is in Fort Collins, WY.
“We were often asked about building a car wash in Cheyenne,” Andrea said. “We saw the desire and need for a wash like ours here and felt it was a good opportunity.”
The new location can clean a car in less than two minutes and features lots of windows and a translucent roof, to cut down on the claustrophobic feeling that can happen in the tunnel.
Hannah Bou-Matar and her husband Omar are now the proud owners of a carwash/Laundromat/pet wash multiprofit center business. It is the city’s first self-serve pet wash.
The carwash includes an automatic bay in addition to its self-serve bays, one of which is suitable for RVs and large trucks.
“We didn’t want to deal with gas sales, so we dug out the [site’s existing] tanks and expanded,” Hannah said. “Then we took one of the carwash bays, and made it part of the Laundromat and the dog wash as well.”
Blue Devil Auto Detailing has opened here and is owned by a husband and wife team who hope their eight children will learn from them the value of hard work.
Co-owner Laura Hamling said, “I think it’s a great work experience, and I get to teach things that my kids just don’t get to learn. I just think it really builds their character. It makes them feel good about themselves.”
The shop offers full-service detailing and the couple plans to expand and soon offer auto body shop repairs.
Blue Devil charges between $85 and $125 for a basic detailing package which also includes a vacuuming and shampooing.
Mobile detailing franchise DetailXPerts now has a new operation here that will cater to busy professionals.
The unit will operate at the Tech Town Two Building which is also visited by consumers.
Angela Williams, president of the DetailXPerts franchise, said, “Busy professionals need more time. One way to make more time is to select a parking location that offers auto detailing where people work, play or live.”

Skool Girl Auto Detail has opened here and is completely owned and operated by women.
Owner Galadriel Lawrence thought an all-girl shop would be “rad.”
Lawrence is an experienced detailer and uses only eco-friendly products. She said they also work on RVs, motorcycles and boats.
All of the female employees wear uniforms including a t-shirt and plaid pants.
The shop, which opened Dec. 1, offered a 25 percent discount for the month of December as well as a free gift to new customers.

Plans for a gas station/convenience store/carwash are moving full steam ahead.
Carver City Council unanimously approved the conceptual plan for the business, which includes a Fleet Farm store, a 4,200 square-foot Mills Gas Mart convenience store and four-bay Mills Car Wash.
The project coincides with a city project to build a four-lance entrance road and other traffic improvements.
Mills Properties hopes to start construction in the spring of 2011 and open the complex in the spring of 2012.
