Cloister Car Wash has opened its fourth full-serve conveyor location here, complete with in-bay automatic and self-serve bays, as well as a fast lube, pet wash and motorcycle wash station.
Cloister’s hallmark flat-belt conveyor technology is used in the full-serve tunnel.
The motorcycle wash was designed by Cloister employees and is thought to be the first of its kind. It has a lift for the motorcycle and features self-serve carwash equipment specifically designed for motorcycles.

The new carwash, Tidal Car Wash, here will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
Owner Chuck Lawrence said the in-bay automatic equipment is “soft touch” and motorists will pay at the entrance using an automated teller machine which accepts cash and credit.

At the new Cruiser’s Carwash, a 1940s themed business, the soap is scented, music is playing in covered canopies and employees’ clothing evokes a bygone era.
The carwash features a 150-foot-long by 27-feet-wide express carwash tunnel. The owners invested $750K in equipment and $4M in the concept.
The owners are treating this location as a prototype. If the business is a success, additional locations will be developed.
The Seminole Indian tribe will be opening a 14,000-sq.-ft. carwash with state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly equipment in Miami, FL.
The Seminole ‘Auto Salon’ will offer customers full-service auto detailing and hand carwash services.

Hohe has 18 years experience in the detailing field and specializes in high-speed buffing and will continue to offer mobile detailing services.

Calcutta now has its first car detailing spa, and it offers Teflon-coating, anti-bacterial steam cleaning and anti-rust treatment.
The spa is considering extending the service to parking lots at malls and multiplexes in the country.
A basic exterior polish and interior cleaning cost around $50-$75. Specialized services are an extra $50.
A former Mancester (England) Playboy club bunny girl has opened a carwash here. Liz King, 51, had help in launching Arclid Car Wash from Prime, an organization which specializes in helping over-50s launch their own businesses.
King invested around $9,000 of her own money and got a lot of general business advice and tips from the organization.
The carwash and valet business is now up and running seven days a week.
