<i>PCC Online's</i> 10th Anniversary

On November 1, 1995 Professional Carwashing & Detailing® magazine officially launched its website Professional Carwashing & Detailing Online at www.carwash.com, an Internet medium providing industry resources, current information, and up-to-date news regarding the carwashing and car-care industries.

From the beginning our goal has been to provide carwash and car-care owners with the most relevant and extensive information affecting the industry.

Ours was the first magazine dedicated to the carwash industry and we soon followed with the first website and news service devoted to wash owners’ interests and needs.

After 10 years of growing and changing, Professional Carwashing & Detailing Online, now called Professional Car Care Online™ (PCC Online), wants to celebrate its success with its readers.

In honor of our 10th anniversary, PCC Online held a contest and challenged its readers to correctly determine the most newsworthy and influential carwash stories in the past few years.

Professional Carwashing & Detailing® magazine and PCC Online have further merged their informational resources by launching “The Great Debate,” a new section in both the magazine and on our website which will explore a new topic on a monthly basis.

We hope that readers will be as excited about this new section as we are.

Each month PC&D will ask two writers to take either a pro or con side on a specified topic and generate debate material.

For our first debate we’ve pitted two carwash owners against each other to debate the pros and cons of friction washing vs. touch-free.

A portion of their debate will be printed in this issue and the conclusion will be posted online at www.pcgreatdebate.com.

We ask that readers respond after carefully considering both sides and vote on which writer they think won the debate.

As you can see, we’ve got a lot going on and a lot for you to get involved with. We’ve built our magazine and website around what car-care owners want to know, so we hope you’ll continue to play an active role in our creative processes.
