MCA show to offer free educational seminar
Jenny Fedewa, the event coordinator of the Midwest Carwash Association Expo, talked to PC&D about how this year’s Expo will be different and what attendees shouldn’t miss.
Professional Carwashing & Detailing: What can people expect to see at this year’s show that is different from the shows of the past?Jenny Fedewa: This year the MCA is proud to be offering an Industry Marketing Campaign FREE of charge. This will take place Wednesday November 11th from 9:30-11:30am at the Embassy Suites, adjacent to the Convention Center. This program is designed to bring recognition, branding and MORE SALES to the carwash industry. This is going to be a wonderful session aimed at laying the groundwork for boosting carwash sales and laying groundwork for a successful future. The Rossman Group, a nationally recognized marketing firm is leading this campaign.
Professional Carwashing & Detailing: How many people are expected to attend?
Jenny Fedewa: The MCA is expecting 500-600 attendees.
Professional Carwashing & Detailing: With the current state of the economy, is there some worry that attendance will be low?
Jenny Fedewa: There is always worry attendance will be low, and this economy surely is not helping. Our goal, which was achieved, was to promote this show repeatedly to over 6000 operators in the region.
Professional Carwashing & Detailing: What advice do you have for people attending this year’s show?
Jenny Fedewa: Attend the education provided. This is FREE to attend! Attend the show both days; you never know what the MCA may have in store. Please remember, the education is held at the Embassy Suites adjacent to the convention center.
Professional Carwashing & Detailing: Will the state of the economy play a big role in this year’s show?
Jenny Fedewa: The state of the economy is playing a big role in every show; that being said we have very ambitious, eager vendors and the operator response has been wonderful!
Professional Carwashing & Detailing: What are you personally looking forward to at this year’s show?
Jenny Fedewa: I am looking forward to spending time with the vendors and operators. I also am very excited about the MCA/CCA dinner this year. We will be going to Texas de Brazil, this is an amazing restaurant with scrumptious food and an ambiance you have to experience to appreciate.
