SALT LAKE CITY — Mister Car Wash now has a total of 74 locations, thanks to its recent acquisition of four Utah-based carwashes, a press release stated.
The Jan. 10 press release reported that the chain acquired the Firehouse Car Washes, all of which are in Salt Lake City.
Ron Peterson, CEO of Mister Car Wash, stated in the press release, “We’re extremely excited about continuing the work that Dow Jones and the whole Firehouse team has done in the Salt Lake community. We plan on leveraging all synergies to the benefit of the customer.”
Mister is only behind Wash Depot by 10 locations. Wash Depot currently has the most locations in the United States with a total of 84 tunnel washes.
Peterson also stated in the press release, “Expanding into new markets is a central piece of our growth strategy, and we’re continuously seeking additional multi-unit conveyor carwash opportunities to help fuel our growth.”
