LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Review-Journal profiled the “wizard” behind the supersized Trop Stop gas station, carwash, c-store and used car dealership here.
The Jan. 29 profile stated that Trop Stop sits on 1.75 acres, and it employs a total of 26 people. Jeffrey Marshall owns and operates the massive business with the help of his family.
“This business is an ongoing puzzle that needs to be figured out on a daily basis,” Marshall said in the story. He explained that his daily ups and downs running the business often relate to how hard his employees are working.
Other on-site tasks Marshall is responsible for include fixing fuel pumps, repairing toilets and performing preventative maintenance on gas pumps, according to the story.
Marshall’s wife and daughter manage the grocery section while his son Troy manages car sales, the story noted.
