Two teens arrested for carwash arson
WHEATFIELD, NY — Two 17-year-olds were arrested and charged with felony arson after they allegedly set a fire that caused $40,000 worth of damage to a carwash here, the Buffalo News reported.
The Jan. 12 story stated that surveillance cameras captured footage of two people starting a fire at Zach’s Lazer Wash.
The carwash shares a building with another business, and the building was open and occupied when the fire was started. No one was hurt, the story noted.
Andrew J. Williams and Ryan P. Koehler were arrested and charged with arson and criminal mischief. They were issued appearance tickets and released to family members, according to the story.
