What made this customer shoot at a wash employee?
EAST CHICAGO, IN — A carwash customer was arrested after shooting at an employee of the Supersonic Car Wash here, The Times reported.
The Feb. 10 article stated that Gorge Montanez Jr., 33, was unhappy with the wax job on his 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Montanez became irate after looking over the detailing of his car, and he then chased an employee through the carwash’s waiting room with a gun in his hand, according to the story.
The pursuit continued outside, where witnesses said they heard a gunshot. Even so, the carwash employee was not injured, the story noted.
Montanez, who held a valid state gun permit, was taken into custody on a probable cause affidavit of pointing a firearm, the story stated. He was relieved of a .40-caliber semiautomatic loaded with 13 bullets.
