Year opened: Originally opened in 2000 as an 8/2. Was purchased by current owner in September 2006, then remodeled in 2007. The tunnel opened in February 2008 and now the business operates as a 4/2/1.

Unique features: There are three wash types at one facility. All wash customers can utilize the free vacuums. Both the central vacuum system and the canister coin/token operated units are utilized for maximum efficiency. Tokens are sold and distributed as an additional onsite currency for all wash types and vending services.
A customized radio station plays onsite (or customers can tune in), and it plays a variety of music and educational advertisements solely pertaining to the benefits of the facility and onsite services for the customers. For example, it includes information on the environmental benefits of professional carwashing, as well as instructions for purchasing gift cards or contacting the wash to help in fundraising events.
There are 37 security cameras on the premises, twelve of which are true high definition cameras. The wash features the maximum amount of signs under the local sign ordinance with a 65’ pole sign with 300 square feet per side and a 4’ by 14’ LED reader board.
There is a full-time prep attendant for the IBA and also a “twilight” menu from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. that offers a $2 savings towards the wash packages. The self-serve carwash accepts credit cards, cash and tokens and it works via voice service confirmation. There are Rain-X foam guns and Blasto Dry Air Wands in the bay.
In addition to all of this, the exterior wash offers a complete customization of POS video interface and graphics; Wal-mart/Murphy Gas remote sales interface at gas pump; interior courtesy towels are given to every customer; and pet treats are handed out to pets and suckers are given to the kids. The tunnel is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
