Unique features: ProntoWash cleans a car with only one pint of water. This business model allows carwash and detail services to be delivered in places traditionally restricted or discouraged. The service meets or exceeds standards and ordinances.
Staff: 4-12 persons for mall locations; 2-3 for offices; and 2 for mobile jobs.
Also of note: ProntoWash Eco AutoSPA identifies locations where it can deliver the benefit of convenience, such as shopping malls, offices, airports, etc., and also sites where luxury cars aggregate. In Southern California, the company is capitalizing on the drought via water conservation efforts, and also eyeing new NPDES (national pollutant discharge elimination system) permits that regulate pollution from entering storm drains.
As members of the U.S. Green Building Council, ProntoWash is launching where property managers’ directives are to be “green.” The franchise’s ultra low water-use model has been adopted by more than a dozen Orange County, CA, cities to utilize ProntoWashes to support carwash fundraisers. So far, $175,000 has been raised for adopted Marine Battalions.
