What is on a professional detailer’s checklist?

ROCKLAND, ME — There is a long list of equipment and chemicals that a properly equipped detailer here should have, according to a story on waldo.villagesoup.com.

The March 22 story said a professional detailer should have a high pressure washer, a dry vacuum, a heated soil extractor, a vapor steamer, an ozone generator and a selection of buffers and orbital waxers.

Also, the story said the shop should have buffing pads, brushes, sponges, microfiber towels and plastic razor blades.

Proper chemicals are the last ingredient, the story said. The necessary chemicals include engine degreasers, wheel cleaners, all purpose cleaners, tar and grease remover, stain removers, soil extractor shampoo, carpet shampoo, glass cleaner, leather conditioner and waxes and sealants.
