What’s the wash setting for a soggy trunk?

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA — The driver of a Mercedes Benz here got a free trunk shampoo and rinse during a recent visit to an in-bay automatic, BCLocalNews.com reported.

The Dec. 7 story includes a video of the unfortunate wash that was posted to YouTube.

On YouTube, the person who recorded and posted the video described what happened: “Only in Richmond, BC. Lady leaned out of her car to input the code for a carwash, then for some reason OPENED HER TRUNK. Then she drove into the carwash with me honking at her to tell her that her trunk was open. Epic...FAIL.”

Let’s hope the trunk wasn’t full of expensive holiday gifts.
