ALEXANDRIA, MN — An assault and a robbery allegedly took place at the Mike's Car Wash here, according to an Echo Press story.
The Dec. 21 story said a bank deposit bag was stolen and police are urging any customers who came to the carwash on Dec. 20 and paid with a check to stop payment on that check.
The incident took place around 9 p.m. on Dec. 20 when the night attendant was walking to his vehicle and was assaulted and thrown to the ground. It was then that the bag was stolen.

Surveillance footage has captured an image of the robber and photos of him can be viewed at www.alexandriapolice.com.
The attendant was not seriously injured. It is also unclear as to how much money was stolen.
