VENRAY, LIMBURG, THE NETHERLANDS — Luc Sterckx has designed and deployed a mobile, automated, wash tunnel on the streets of The Netherlands.
The tunnel, however, is not for automobiles – it’s for bicycles.
Called the Velo Wash, the tunnel is about the length of a full-size bicycle and the wash process is about 10 seconds, according to the bike-eu.com story.
It does not use brushes or chemicals, but medium pressure water 2 x 4 spray tubes.
The Velo Wash is manufactured by Rowafil Manufacturing which is wholly owned by iClean Carwash Technologies BV.
