CHICAGO — Dan Soltis sought to build a carwash onto a BP gas station, but his project was not approved by the village board, according to the Hinsdale Sun Times.
The project would have needed a special permit for a carwash. “We do have an uphill battle,” said Soltis. “We understand that.”
The plan for the wash was to be able to offer gas and a cheaper carwash, along with the convenience of it being available in one place.
The village president said that he does not think the project meets the criteria needed to approve it.
