PASADENA, Calif. — A suspect in the arson of Alliance Auto Body has been linked to the crime through DNA evidence, according to the Pasadena Star-News.
The suspect, 30-year-old Jesse Cole Nicholas, was in jail for unrelated cases when he was linked to the act, said the article.
The Sept. 27 blaze did $375,000 worth of damage, burning a building used for detailing and prep work, destroying two cars inside it, noted the article.

Surveillance footage shows a man breaking into cars at the business before the fire started, and then fleeing in a stolen car. Hour later the man returns, breaks into more cars, and sets fire to another, reported the article.
DNA collected from one of the burglarized vehicles matched Nicholas, stated the article.
