WADSWORTH, OH — Council members moved a hearing involving a rezoning proposal made on behalf of Stop ‘n Go c-store, the Wadsworth Post reported.
The Oct. 23 story stated that the business wants to rezone two lots commercial in order to construct a new 5000-square-foot convenience store, gas station and carwash. Stop ‘n Go is hoping to move its c-store closer to the Interstate and to expand its offerings.

The public hearing on the proposal is now scheduled for Nov. 20. The hearing will allow proponents and opponents to address the council about the request.
Since members of the planning commission voted 3-2 in opposition of the rezoning request, six out of seven members of the council would need to vote in favor of the request to pass it.
