COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — According to www.denver.cbslocal.com, a man was cleaning his car at Chapel Hills Car Wash on Briargate Blvd. on Mar. 5th when it was hijacked.

He had left the keys in the ignition while he was cleaning the backseat, the article noted.

Two thieves then jumped into his PT Cruiser while he was still in the backseat and started driving away, the article stated.

“Out of nowhere, I’m in the backseat, vacuuming it out, just getting ready to drive out for the day, but my car starts moving, and I noticed somebody was in the front seat,” said the victim.

According to the article, it is not clear how the victim escaped the moving vehicle, but he was unharmed.

The victim told police that one of the suspects looked to be about 18 years old and the other looked a little older and bigger.
