BEND, OR — Empire Car Wash here recently added 29 beer taps, according to Herald and News.
The Dec. 9 story stated that the 29-tap growler fill station is the carwash’s attempt to get in on the popularity of beer growlers in the area. Bars, restaurants and c-stores have all started filling growlers or plan to in the near future.
Brewing up additional profits via coffee sales
One distributor noted that the Growler Guys are at the forefront of c-stores offering growlers. “They have the biggest volume account for a convenience store in the area,” the distributor said in the story.
Keg beer is the best kind of beer, according to the story. This beer comes directly from the brewery to the tap.
