AVON PARK, FL — A carwash paid for with a stolen debit card will leave a woman here with three criminal charges, according to Highlands Today.
The March 1 story stated that Angel Lopez Diego, 32, was arrested and charged with third-degree grand theft, criminal use of personal identification and credit card fraud. Diego was later released on $3,000 bond.
‘Skimmer’ problem plagues carwash owner
The arrest was made after a woman reported a burglary in November 2012 where her computer, iPod and debit card were stolen. A surveillance camera at the carwash showed Diego pay for a carwash using the stolen debit card.
The investigation showed the card was used to pay for a movie and get $200 in cash as well.
