SPOKANE, WA ― Police arrested a man, dubbed the "carwash caper," who was found hiding in a carwash's ceiling late Sunday night, a KREM.com story said.
The Jan. 29 story said officers responded to an alarm and when they arrived, the owner showed them that a roof hatch in one of the bays was open. Holes were also found in the drywall ceiling.
An officer climbed through one of the holes and discovered 32-year-old Samuel Lebsock, who was then arrested.
Tip leads police to serial carwash robber
Lebsock was arrested back in March 2004 for committing the exact same crime at the same carwash. That time, he accidentally left behind paperwork that contained his name.
