CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Waterworks Car Wash and Detail Center sees high volumes of business on good weather days.
However, Waterworks is still trying to recover from Southeast Missouri’s harsh winter last year, according to the Southeast Missourian.
“It’s pretty fair, keeps us busy, keeps us going,” employee Joe Russell said in the article. “But when it rains, it really puts a damper on us.”
Russell remembers a day in 2010 when the business serviced 238 cars.
During the busiest time of the year, in late spring and early summer, they usually service 80 to 100 cars, according to the article.
Waterworks has a variety of packages ranging from a $10 basic carwash to a $105 full detailing.
