Ichung’wa, speaking at the Nderi Shopping Centre on Nov. 4, said he anticipates that the wash systems will help youths “become financially independent,” reported the article.
“We all would want to see our youths engage constructively in daily routines, and because [they] have chosen to [enter in the] carwash business, [they] have my support and strive to go a notch higher,” stated Ichung’wa in the article.
During the presentation, the article continued, Ichung’wa was accompanied by James Kamau, chairman of the Kikuyu Youth Association who advises youths against drinking.
Kamau explained in the article that youths should channel their energy toward “constructive engagements.”
