POMONA, Calif. — Prolong® Super Lubricants announced it has retained several manufacturers’ representative firms to expand its distribution to ensure its products are more easily accessible to customers around the U.S., according to a press release.
Prolong’s expanded reach into the performance warehouse and traditional warehouse distributor channels, stated the release, is in addition to its current distribution through select auto parts retail chains and mass merchants.
The company is now working with West Coast-based Pacific Marketing, SRS Marketing, which will cover the East Coast, continued the release, and Thomas Sales and Marketing in the Midwest.
Prolong is also working with West Coast-based Pacific Marketing, SRS Marketing, which will cover the East Coast, and Thomas Sales and Marketing in the Midwest.
Last year during the Performance Warehouse Association Conference, which took place Sept. 11-14 in Anaheim, reported the release, the company began its search for representation by interviewing a number of manufacturer representative firms.
“Meeting individually with so many top-notch rep firms at PWA was invaluable in learning about their individual processes and how they could complement our existing operations,” said Jon Apogée, general manager, domestic sales, marketing and motorsports, for Prolong, in the release. “We believe these are the premier rep agencies that can help us facilitate steady sales growth to the warehouse distributors. We are confident this will be a successful initiative for all involved.”
A GoldenWest Lubricants Inc. brand, noted the release, Prolong produces a vast range of chemicals and car care products, including: chassis and wheel lubricants; engine, fuel and transmission additives and vinyl and leather protectants.
