WAUWATOSA, WI — The Wauwatosa Community Development Committee voted against a gas station and convenience store, 5 to 2.
The request was made by Mandeep Dhawan who currently owns eight such stores in Milwaukee. He has “come under fire” for his management of those locations, according to the Journal Sentinel story.
“My biggest concern was with the applicant himself,” City Alderman Jeff Roznowski said. “And the history of hos other gas stations in the city of Milwaukee with regard to crime and health problems.”
City votes in favor of new carwash
