CWONJ meeting covers OSHA, labor laws

MONROE, NJ ― OSHA investigator Jerry Zubenko addressed the crowd at the recent the Car Wash Operators of New Jersey meeting.

MONROE, NJ ― The Car Wash Operators of New Jersey (CWONJ) met here at the Crowne Plaza last Tuesday to discuss OSHA compliance and labor laws, a press release reported.

The Feb. 6 press release stated that OSHA investigator/consultant Jerry Zubenko and labor attorney Joanna Rich of FordHarrison LLP were on hand to talk to the attendees. Association Lobbyist Patrick Stewart also discussed recent legistlative activity taking place at the capitol.

OSHA: Regulations, enforcement and citations

CWONJ President Al Villani also talked about the Association's "Jersey Clean program," which is its new scholarship program and upcoming meetings.

Firmament leads investment in Sparkle Express Car Wash Group

NEW YORK — According to a press release, Firmament, a provider of structured equity capital solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises, announced its strategic investment in Sparkle Express Car Wash Group, a new membership-based express carwash brand headquartered in Chicago with locations across Georgia, South Carolina, and Illinois.

Sparkle represents the business combination of 19 separate unit acquisitions across all three states.
