PHOENIX — There has been another guilty plea in the case against Danny’s Car Wash for rehiring employees who did not have proper authorization to work in the U.S., according to the Associated Press.
Miguel Meija-Estrada and five other managers have a June 2. date in federal court.
There have been many lower-level manages and one member of Danny’s who is high up, who have pleaded guilty to rehiring workers who did not have proper documentation.
When a federal audit was done, it was found that around half of Danny’s workers did not have the right to work in the U.S.
Danny’s has pleaded not guilty to charges of immigration document fraud, along with other charges.
