EAGAN, MN — Darrin Baum has been promoted to vice president, general manager of the newly created vehicle care division of Zep Inc., a press release reported.
The Dec. 3 press release stated that Baum joined Zep back in 2012 when it acquired Ecolab's Vehicle Care division. Prior to that he served as territory manager, district manager, western area vice president, vice president of corporate accounts, and vice president of sales and service at Ecolab. He also worked at and managed carwashes and has been a board member of Western Carwash Association since 2002.
“Darrin’s extensive knowledge of our industry and his passion for our team, together with his business acumen and dynamic leadership skills, uniquely qualify him to lead Zep Vehicle Care into the future,” Steve Nichols, group president of Zep Inc., stated in the press release.
The new Vehicle Care group currently employs 150 people and has 90 distributors.
