KANSAS CITY — To raise money for a non-profit agency, K & C Auto Detailing Solutions and Shamerrific Automotive Cleaning Products donated time and equipment for a charity carwash, according to a press release.
Wash holds fundraiser for tuberculosis charity
The Nov. 11 release stated that the wash was held at K & C Auto Detailing last Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. During the event, students from F. L. Schlagle High School’s Marching Stallions Band and the company’s team volunteered to hand wash vehicles.
Customers were charged $10 per vehicle, and all the money raised will go to the Together Center, a nonprofit that provides youth development and emergency assistance services.

“This is a great way to show that young people care about the community they live in and want to volunteer their time for a worthy cause. We hope people will bring their vehicles by and help raise money for this amazing organization,” said Christina Scott, Partner for K & C Auto Detailing Solutions and Shamerrific.
According to Scott, the wash raised $600 in just a few hours of washing, and the event was covered by a local TV station.
