Detailer lands work from Transformers movie

NAPERVILLE, IL — The environmentally-friendly business uses a wind turbine, solar power and harvests rain water.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Jason Morin, general manager for Brighton Car Wash and Detail Center, said the business recently detailed vehicles for the Paramount Pictures’ movie The Transformers, Positively Naperville reported.

The Oct. 4 story stated that Morin and his staff have previously detailed vehicles for dignitaries and movie companies. “About the only thing we have not detailed would be a full-size military tank,” Morin said.

Looking to LED

The location features a 130-foot tunnel and 900-square-foot detailing bays. The wash is open seven days a week and employs more than 35 employees.

Built in 1997, the property uses a wind turbine for power generation, a solar powered heater for wash water and harvested rainwater for some wash steps. The business also uses LED lighting to keep energy costs down.
