MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — According to www.lancasteronline.com, a customer at a Mister Car Wash lost control of her car and damaged the carwash building extensively.
The 50-year-old female customer was pulling out of the exterior wash tunnel when she put the car back into gear and lost control, the article continued.
The car drove about 100 feet before it collided with the outside of a building on the property where vehicle interiors are cleaned, the article noted.
The car broke through the building, entered it and destroyed a support column, the article added.
The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and no other people or vehicles were harmed or struck, the article stated.
Authorities have yet to determine if the building is still structurally sound, the article concluded.
