BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The drought in California has led many organizations to conserve water in order to help out, according to station KERO.
For example, AT&T has stopped washing all its vehicles, and the Kern County Fire Department has reduced the amount of water used to clean its vehicles.
The fire department has also cutback on the water used during training sessions.
The city of Bakersfield has a carwash facility where vehicles are being washed, but a portion of the water is recycled.
