CHICAGO — There were numerous accidents at a carwash on Tuesday, caused by an elderly man, according to myFoxchicago.com.
The accidents began when the man pressed on the gas too hard and hit the carwash door, which was closed.

After hitting the gas and crashing into the door, the man reversed the car, and backed into a retention pond, according to Kathy Hoffmeyer, a Will County Sheriff’s office spokeswoman.
Authorities had to pull the man from the water. His vehicle was not submerged.

The man’s exact age is unknown. He was described as “alert and able to walk around” after the accidents. He was in good condition when taken to the hospital.
