FRANKLIN, WI — A 30-year-old detail shop employee was arrested for burglary after an investigation showed he stole an $8,000 motorcycle, FranklinNOW reported.
The Feb. 12 story stated that the motorcycle was stolen from Speedway Auto Detailing overnight on Jan. 20. The owner called police the next morning and said someone had forced their way into the business and stolen the bike.

Police viewed surveillance video from a neighboring business that showed a U-Haul rental truck backing up to the shop the night of the theft. Police worked with U-Haul to determine who rented the truck.
It was found that an employee of the shop had rented the truck, and he confessed to the burglary during questioning. The employee told police where the motorcycle was stashed, and it was recovered.
