CARMARTHEN, England — Ruzi Ruzyyev was shamed by Business Secretary Vince Cable for failing to provide his employees the national minimum wage, according to the Carmarthen Journal.
Tougher laws have been enacted in the country to eliminate this problem. “Paying less than the minimum wage is illegal,” said Cable. “If employers break the law they need to know that they will face tough consequences.”

Increased penalties for failing to comply with the laws will start March 7 and lead to a 100 percent penalty fee for wages not paid.
