DEXTER, N.Y. — A carwash facility with a laundromat and retails storage facility has been sent to the area’s planning board for approval, according to the Watertown Daily Times.
The Jefferson County Planning Board reviewed the plans and recommended them for approval by the village planning board, stated the article.
If approved, the facility will have a two-bay carwash, vacuums and 14 cold storage units, noted the article.
A neighbor was concerned about noise and traffic the business could cause, reported the article. A senior planner with the county noted the concerns in its comments to the planning board.
A swimwear manufacturer previously occupied the space where the carwash facility would be built, shared the article.
