Fundraiser made $24,000 for research hospital

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Foam & Wash Car Wash and Oil Change Plus held its annual fundraiser for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during October, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

The Nov. 29 story stated that, with the help of customers, $24,000 was raised. Foam & Wash operates 12 locations in two counties.

Wash holds fundraiser for tuberculosis charity

“I am incredibly proud of my team of associates and so thankful for our great customers and their overwhelming generosity during these difficult times,” Todd Baright, president of Foam & Wash, said in the story. “Together we are helping the children of St. Jude and children all over the world.”

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded by Danny Thomas in 1962. The hospital is supported mainly by contributions made from national fundraising events.
