PARKER, CO — Kwik Car Wash here hosted a fundraiser on Sept. 8 to help support a local teen that is fighting brain cancer, according to a press release.
The Sept. 13 release stated that the “God’s Got This” Foundation put the carwash together, and this foundation was created last month to support Jenna Spille, 15, after she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
Kwik Car Wash donated 50 percent of their wash sales between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and volunteers were on-site vacuuming and towel drying. There was also a bake sale and bracelets and t-shirts for sale to generate additional donations.
The fundraiser earned a total of $3,800, and all the money will go to support Jenna and her family during this difficult time.
