McMINVILLE, OR — Super Wash opened its first Oregon location here in a newly constructed facility next to Wal-Mart, the Yamhill Valley News-Register reported.
The Aug. 10 story stated that the coin-op wash features three self-serve bays as well as two in-bay automatics the business calls “supermatics.” The wash also has vending machines for washing accessories, a change machine and five vacuums.
General Manager Scott Cure said the bays are open 24 hours a day year-round, and an attendant will be on duty between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for the first three months to help customers become familiar with the wash equipment.
After the opening period, Cure plans to maintain a significant presence. “Our goal is to keep the facility looking nice,” he said in the article.
Free wash coupons for a grand opening ceremony are being published in a local newspaper and distributed by hand. The celebration will run from noon to 7 p.m. this Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
